Firstly, I have a little story to tell you and I will keep it as brief as humanly possible. You could say, it's MY 'history.'
Once upon a time, in a land far, far, away ...
From 1971 until 1991, I worked for large Corporate companies in the fields of either Computer Operator or Credit Controller. The pay was good - the hours of work and the stress involved, debilitating. It was time for a change.
In 1992 I joined a family owned and operated business that supplied and installed Airconditioning systems to homes and businesses. Initially, my role was 'Office Manager' but because I was organised, I also took on the role of Installations Manager. With company expansion, the role of Installation Manager grew to a huge job, so I opted to 'specialize' in that side of the business. I absolutely LOVED the job I was doing. My input helped the Company grow enormously and that was very rewarding for me personally.
In the year 2000, the lights went out!
My enthusiasm had disappeared - everything had become tedious - I needed an urgent change, so I quit!
The plan was to write a book and market it on the Internet and make similar or more money to what I had been bringing home. For reasons which I will explain later, this 'plan' didn't come to fruition and I returned to the same company in 2001 with my tail between my legs. It was exactly 1 year to the day from when I had left.
Everything I did from that point on, was done under sufferance. I was viewed as being a failure, not only by others but also by myself. I stayed there for another 5 years and quit again in 2006, down but not out. I 'sacrificed' my true goals to satisfy others - my family.
Now what has all of this got to do with YOU?
No doubt, you have seen the cartoons on TV or in print, that represent a person's conscience and the fight between good and evil choices that need to be made. They use a 'devil' for bad options and an 'angel' for the good options.
Well, MY theory is that the Inner Guru that is resident in everyone, yes
EVERYONE, is a combination of the two and the
PRIMARY function of this website, will be helping
YOU to discover
YOUR INNER GURU. As I said before, there
IS one inside of everybody and TIG and I will explore all of the possible avenues to draw yours out into the open, so you can learn to recognise it and use it gainfully to achieve the best you can out of life in all facets.
That's a pretty big challenge, but it's one we are both excited about undertaking.
This is my representation of the
morphing effect that will take place.
This will
NOT be a paid membership website. I toyed with the idea for about 20 seconds before I heard TIG yelling out,
"NO WAY!" Over the years, I have learned to listen to TIG and follow his directions. (To not do so, could be hazardous to my health.)
